Climate

Lumiere Organic Farm, Kanthalloore is located in the Western Ghats and around 3750ft above sea level. Mostly cold climate with the summer taking the temperature to almost 30 during the day time. Usually winter ends and spring starts in February and summer starts in April. By June/July we start getting monsoon from Kerala. During July we experience thunderstorm called Adimasakkaatu (Winds during the month Adi). This storm is a tough one to handle. After the monsoon, we have some sunny days before we enter into the rainy season of Tamilnadu and then to winter again. During the winter the temperature goes as low as 0.
