Our Organic Alternatives

Rice & Wheat

We procure boiled as well as raw rice from organic farms of Palghat and Tamilnadu. Have a normal meal and feel the difference. We get Basmati rice from Himachal Pradesh for our Biriyanis and Fried rices. We use organic whole wheat atta for our Phulkas, Rotis and Breads.

Dairy Products

The milk we use is directly from Our own cattle farms. Because of the freshness and quality we are able to deliver high quality dairy products such as Curd, Ghee, Butter and Paneer

Vegetables

Lumiere has been cultivating vegetables organically in our own farm in Kanthalloore, Munnar for the past four years. Apart from those available in our own farm, we procure from similar organic farms in and outside of Kerala which are strictly following the organic farming practices.

Oil

We use only organic Sunflower and Coconut oils in our kitchen.

Other Ingredients

Other ingredients like Spices, Pulses and Legumes are all sourced from certified Organic farms. All these are also available for purchase at our Eco-shop in the same premises.

Fish

An excellent source of protein, minerals and vitamins, fish is one of the healthiest eat you can find on our planet. We agree, contamination due to increased wastage disposal from the industries is a cause for worry, but sea food from the deep sea can still be considered safe for consumption and they grow naturally.

Poultry

We have started our own poultry farm in Vypin, Kochi, Kerala and Kolar, Karnataka to satisfy the requirements of our Kerala and Karnataka operations. These chicks are grown by feeding organic vegetables and poultry feed. Come and enjoy the forgotten taste of organic, free range chicken.
